Intrasquad Meet

It’s time for our Intrasquad Swim Meet! Join us August 3-7th. You can register day-of and check out your results.

Meet Info

  • Pool will open at 5:30 AM for warmups
  • Competition begins at 6:15 AM and will wrap by 7 AM each day
  • We’ll be using the middle of the pool (Lanes 2-6) for competition so if you want to keep swimming, or your events aren’t that day, you’ll have two lanes to continue practice in.

Just want to drop in?

Swim with us any weekday, 6–7 AM. Three steps, no reservation or advance notice needed:

Drop in. Come to The Plunge for morning practice — no reservation needed.

Pay the drop-in fee. $15 for a 1-hour pass at the front desk.
3
Meet the coach. Introduce yourself to the coach on deck — they’ll get you oriented and into the right lane.

We are a U.S. Masters swimming team for adults 18+, with structured swim sets led by a coach on deck, Monday through Friday, from 6–7 AM.

Am I fast enough? Yes. We have lanes for every pace — from getting-back-in-shape to competitive.

What it costs.

Plunge San Diego Platinum members and Fit Mission Beach members have free access to the Plunge Masters team. Not a member? Grab a day or week pass at the front desk and drop in.

U.S. Masters Swimming registration is optional — it’s only needed for sanctioned meets, not for practice.

On deck at six.

MON–FRI6:00–7:00 AM

In-water, coached practices five mornings a week. Doors to the pool will be open 10-15 minutes before practice begins. Locker rooms, showers, and towels are available. Curious what we swim before you show up? Every set is posted on our Swim.team profile — 875 workouts and counting.

Equipment? Kickboards and pull buoys are at the pool. Bring fins or paddles if you like — not required.

What is Masters swimming?

It’s coached swimming for adults — “Masters” just means 18 and over. We’re affiliated with U.S. Masters Swimming.

Members who register with U.S. Masters Swimming (USMS) get access to sanctioned meets and the bimonthly SWIMMER magazine. Registration isn’t required to practice with us.
